Botzen is an Industrial Design Studio run by Eric Strebel in the Detroit metro area, with over 30 years of experience. We specialize in iconic products for the inhabitants of planet Earth. Our mission is to provide an exceptional design experience. Our Consumer Product Development Process
STEP 1:
CONCEPTUALIZE
Botzen combines innovation and aesthetics in the initial design phase to visualize unique sustainable earth friendly concepts. Using traditional 2D sketching and abstract 3D idea generation methods to explore ideas and possibilities for your products.
STEP 2:
GENERATE
Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) to bring ideas to life. Botzen takes refined concepts and digitally sculpts them to bring them to life allowing you to touch and feel ideas. Botzen uses Fusion 360 shape your ideas to exact tolerances and specifications.
STEP 3:
REALIZE
Equipped with rapid prototyping technology, Botzen ensures precision in creating both detailed components and complete models. In-house capabilities range from simple cardboard mock ups to 3D printing to cast urethane resin parts, allowing us to to produce high quality realistic preproduction sample parts, allowing your concepts to flourish.
STEP 4:
PRODUCTION
From creating production design guides to sourcing a manufacturer, Botzen can help you get your products to market after they have been designed and validated. Everything from helping you take your data and getting manufacturing quotes to selecting the right manufacturer to get your product into production.
We get our hands dirty, testing and iterating with low-fidelity mockups and high-end resin prototypes that test and validate design ideas.
